Description
Our New Pistol Shooter is a 3-hour class designed to give you the confidence to safely and effectively handle a semi-automatic pistol. The class is broken into two sections: classroom instruction and range practice. In the classroom, you will discuss firearm safety, types of firearms, and basic firearm handling. On the range, you will put your learning into practice with dry-fire and live-fire drills.
Our Ladies-Only classes are safe, non-judgemental learning environments to build your confidence in safely and effectively handling a semi-automatic pistol. To learn more about your instructor, Mandi, click HERE.
Required Gear:
- Semi-automatic pistol (if you have a revolver, please email us before signing up – training@therangeaustin.com)
- 50 rounds of ammunition
- Ear & eye protection
Firearm rentals and ammunition for purchase is available upon arrival.
Waiver:
If you haven’t completed our online waiver, please do so by clicking here. It must be completed prior to live fire training. This waiver is good for one year.
COURSE REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Attendance Policy: If you are unable to attend the class, you may request a refund or transfer to another class up to 72 hours prior to the class and will be subject to a $35 rescheduling/cancelation fee. No refunds or reschedules will be provided within 72 hours of the class or after the class. Please email the Training Department at training@therangeaustin.com to request a refund or reschedule your class.
Late Arrival To Class: Due to the safety briefing held at the beginning of the class, students are allotted a 10-minute grace period to arrive. Any student who arrives after 10 minutes past the start time will be considered a “No-Show” and will need to purchase the class again at a later date.
