These policies and procedures are in place to protect ourselves and our customers. Your understanding and support is greatly appreciated in this manner. The Range at Austin (TRA) reserves the right to change, update or alter our policies at any time and without having to notify individuals or groups.

Booking Policy

Payment in full is required to secure all training bookings.

Cancelation Policy

If you are unable to attend the class, you may request a refund or transfer to another class up to 72 hours prior to the class and will be subject to a $35 rescheduling/cancelation fee. No refunds or reschedules will be provided within 72 hours of the class or after the class.

Attendance Policy

Due to the timing of the safety briefing, students who arrive 15 minutes or more after the start of a training service may not be permitted to attend. Late arrivals will not receive a refund, reschedule opportunity, or credit voucher for their class. Students who are dismissed from training due to safety risks will not receive a refund, reschedule opportunity, or credit voucher for their class.

TRA reserves the right to refuse business or services to any individuals or organizations without providing an explanation. Final approval for attendance is at the sole discretion of the TRA staff and is non-negotiable.

Age/Status Restrictions

Training services are open to students of all ages, provided at least one adult is present for the duration of the service. Federal law prohibits the rental of pistols or purchase of pistol caliber ammunition by students under 21 years of age. Students may provide their own equipment or have a second student over 21 years of age rent on their behalf, provided the older student remains present for the duration of the service.

The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) restricts training to students who are US Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents. If you are a foreign visitor, check out our Shooting Packages!
