NOTE: This is an OFF-SITE course.
According to the AAA Foundation, Americans spend an average of 17,600 minutes in a vehicle each year; do you have what it takes to defend yourself in that space? This Vehicle Close Quarter Engagement (CQE) course will teach you strategies for defending yourself inside, outside, and around your motor vehicle.
This course is open to civilians, military, and law enforcement.
Location: Seguin, Texas (address to be provided upon registration)
Duration: 8 hours (1 hour lunch break)
Objectives:
-Demonstrate firearm safety in dynamic drills and environments
-Exit a vehicle while engaging with a pistol
-Maintain accuracy while shooting from unconventional positions (seated, prone, kneeling, etc.)
-Identify and utilize cover and concealment in and around vehicles
-Transition between pistol and rifle platforms (optional)
-Develop a personal protection plan for your vehicle
Prerequisites:
–Holster Qualification (email training@therangeaustin.com for more information)
-Dojo Green and Blue Belts may participate with OWB holsters
-Dojo Purple Belts and up may participate with concealment holsters
Required Gear:
-Pistol with at least 2 magazines
-Strongside, Outside the Waistband Holster (Purple Belt students may use a concealment holster)
-500 rounds of pistol ammunition (1,000 rounds if not using a rifle)
-Rifle with at least 2 magazines (optional)*
-500 rounds of rifle ammunition (NO steel core or green tip ammunition allowed)
-Ear protection & eye protection*
-Gloves*
-Sack Lunch (no microwaves or refrigerators available on site)

Waiver:
If you haven’t completed our online waiver, please do so by clicking here. It must be completed prior to live fire training. This waiver is good for one year.
COURSE REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Attendance Policy: If you are unable to attend the class, you may request a refund or transfer to another class up to 1 week prior to the class and will be subject to a $35 rescheduling/cancelation fee. No refunds or reschedules will be provided within 1 week of the class or after the class. Please email the Training Department at training@therangeaustin.com to request a refund or reschedule your class.
Late Arrival To Class: Due to the safety briefing held at the beginning of the class, students are allotted a 10-minute grace period to arrive. Any student who arrives 10 minutes past the start time will be considered a “No-Show” and will not be permitted to join the class. The student will need to purchase the class again at a later date.
