Returns & Refund Policy

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

All sales are final on ammunition, firearms, Microtech, already mounted scopes and optics, special orders, Armored Plates, Gift Cards, and sales merchandise – no returns, exchanges, refunds, or store credit.  Returns with a receipt within 30 days of purchase will be refunded to the original form of payment, exchanged, or issued a store credit for the purchase price of the item.  Returns with a receipt beyond 30 days, but before 60 days from the date of purchase, will be exchanged or issued a store credit for the purchase price of the item.  No refunds on merchandise beyond 30 days of purchase.  No returns, exchanges, refunds, or store credit without a receipt or beyond 60 days from date of purchase.  Returned items must be unused and unaltered, with their original packaging and tags.  Returns of defective or damaged merchandise are governed by the policies of the manufacturer and may be subject to a service fee charged by the manufacture and/or The Range of Austin.

PURCHASING OR PICKING UP A FIREARM(s)?

  • It is The Range at Austin’s policy that it will not transfer if a PROCEED is not provided by NICS/FBI.
  • If NICS/FBI does not provide a PROCEED within 30 days the background check will expire and a 2nd attempt may be processed.
  • The Range at Austin will not provide a 3rd attempt at a background check after the 2nd attempt expires. Upon expiration of the 2nd attempt the firearm will be shipped back to the original FFL that it was received from if it’s a transfer.
  • The Range at Austin will provide a refund if a non-proceed is reached after the 2nd attempt if the firearm is purchased from The Range at Austin.
  • The Range at Austin will not refund transfer fees for non-proceeds.
  • The Range at Austin will not hold Inventory or Transfers for customers while a UPIN is applied for.

 

NFA RETURNS & REFUNDS

The Range at Austin is not liable for damages to your NFA item(s) that are being shot in our facility.  Used NFA item(s) are not eligible for a refund.

NON-SUBMISSIONS OF FORM 4**

  • 30 days from acquisition/purchase from The Range at Austin NFA item(s) will be subject to a $25 storage fee per month until submission occurs.
  • 90 days from acquisition/purchase from The Range at Austin NFA item(s) will be subject to an automatic refund less a 25% restocking fee in the form of a Range at Austin gift card.
  • 120 days from acquisition/purchase from The Range at Austin NFA item(s) will be considered abandoned with no opportunity for a refund.

NFA ITEM CANCELLATION POLICY

  • If for any reason you change your mind after purchasing and wish to cancel your order, you will receive a refund for the amount paid at the time of cancellation, less a 25% restocking fee, issued in the form of a Range at Austin gift card. Cancellation must be within 30 days of purchase and before any ATF paperwork has been submitted for the item(s). Once the application forms have been submitted to the ATF we are unable to cancel or issue a refund on your order. Purchase of all sale items are final. Self-withdrawn applications from the ATF e-Forms portal are not eligible for a refund.

NFA DENIALS, DELAYS, RETURNS – because of background

  • If your application is Denied or Delayed due to your ineligibility to own a silencer (background check issues), you will receive a refund less a 25% processing fee. If your application is returned due to any other issue that is not associated with a background check issue with the FBI. we will resubmit your application after you resolve your record at no additional cost. Should you choose not to resubmit your application, you will receive a refund, including your tax stamp, less a 25% processing fee. Refunds for ATF denials or RWA are issued in the form of a Range at Austin gift card.

NON-PICK UP**

  • ALL NFA items must be picked up within 30 days of approval. Anything picked up after 30 days will be subject to a background check.
  • If your NFA item(s) are not picked up after 90 days, it will be subject to a $25 monthly storage fee
  • If your NFA item(s) are not picked up after 120 days, it will be considered abandoned property, and no refunds will be issued. Your NFA item(s) will be subject to either be sent back to the FFL they were acquired from or sold through The Range at Austin.

**Exceptions allowed to the above for military deployment or major health concerns if appropriate staff members of The Range at Austin are notified.

PURCHASING OR PICKING UP NFA ITEM(s)?

  • The Range at Austin will not re-apply an application after it has been DELAYED for FBI background check issue.
  • If your application is DENIED or DELAYED due to your ineligibility to own a silencer (FBI background check issue), you will receive a refund less a 25% processing fee, in the form of a Range at Austin gift card.
  • The Range at Austin will not refund transfer fees for DENIED or DELAYED applications.
  • The Range at Austin will not hold Inventory or Transfers for customers while a UPIN is applied for.

* The Range at Austin does not accept remote transfers from unlicensed individuals. The Range will only accept transfers from FFL dealers. 

* We will no longer transfer or sell firearm/suppressors to individuals that are not U.S. citizens or Permanent residents. If the customer is on a Visa, we cannot sell or transfer firearms to them. The Range at Austin will not use hunting licenses as a form for use to purchase a firearm. Transferred firearms will only be returned to the vendor of the product, and not to another FFL dealer.
