3. Remove screws from the included pin
4. Using only your hands or a non-metal punch or dowel and a smaller hammer or mallet, gently drive the included pin into the MP5 front takedown pin hole so that it is centered in the MP5 frame. The pin needs to have a snug fit in the frame in order not to spin while tightening or loosening the screws. If the included pin does not fit snugly, do not install it; contact the manufacturer for assistance.
5. Place the flared magwell over the OEM magwell so the holes in the mounting tabs align with the holes in the included pin and carefully thread the included screws on both sides. Snug screws down with a #10 Torx wrench.
Do not overtighten!
6. With a 1/16-inch Allen wrench inserted through the holes in the front of the flared magwell, gradually tighten each set screw. While holding the gun with one hand, grab the flared magwell with the other hand and try to move it to test the tension of the set screws. Also insert and remove an empty magazine to test fitment. Continue this process until the set screws are just tight enough that the flared magwell is firmly attached and a magazine can be smoothly inserted and removed.
Again, do not overtighten!
