Job Description: Range Safety Officer
The Range at Austin serves as the premier shooting facility in Central Texas. We offer a 52,000 square feet comprehensive retail and state of the art shooting range with exceptional customer service that is open to the public. With a commitment to education and safety, extensive and varied retail offerings, and top-of-the-line amenities, The Range at Austin provides locals and visitors alike with a truly unique shooting experience.
We are looking to add to our Range Safety team and if you have the desire and a basic background around firearms this may be a great opportunity waiting for you.
Base Pay: We start our RSO’s at $17 per hour. Commissions and pay raises are easily achievable for motivated employees.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods
Qualifications:
• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Highly self-motivated/able to work without direction
• Naturally friendly and positive daily attitude
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional customer service
• Ability to carry out directives efficiently
• Proficient with firearms
• Desire to learn new skills and accept responsibility
Job Type: Full-time / Part Time
Salary: $17/ hour
