Job Description: Full-Time Firearm & NFA Retail Sales Associate
The Range at Austin serves as the premier shooting facility in Central Texas. The Range at Austin is looking for a result-driven individual to be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals, and effectively manage products.
Responsibilities
- Greeting Customers
- Process 4473’s for firearm transfers and sales, NFA transfers and sales along with certifying customers.
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and display of firearms and accessories.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding firearms, NFA sales and safety.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist customers in the purchase of the appropriate products, and merchandise.
- Demonstrate and communicate in-depth knowledge of products to the customer.
- Exceeds customer expectations
- Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of store and merchandise.
- Adhere to all The Range at Austin policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in firearms and NFA sales.
- Knowledge of firearms, firearms safety and NFA products.
- Knowledge of different types of firearms and NFA items, their features, benefits, and uses.
- Ability to meet Federal requirements for handling and processing firearm and NFA transactions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Willingness to embrace technology.
- Willingness to learn about many brands and products.
- Passing of employer drug screen and background check
- 21 years of age or older.
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
